We’ve discovered some structural problems in the rear facade of the building:
1) A crack in the outer wall of what was the toilet and now will be the laundry closet, which will need to be fixed with mortar.
2) A bit of rotting at the end of the large, wooden ceiling beam.
3) The lintel of one of the windows is cracked in the middle.
The latter two will require the addition of some steel supports before we can finish the building work in the apartment.
